Hope means never giving up, always seeing the value in a new day with new opportunities

3. What has caused you to help restore hope in Haiti?

The women in Haiti need a voice. I saw the need and how I can help, so I couldn't say no. Every effort, big or small, plays a part in making a huge difference in someone's life and participating in the restored gala is one small way I can help make a big impact!

4. We love the creative way you are fundraising for the Gala. Please tell us about Shop for a Cause.

I love to shop!! I love spending time with fun people who make me feel happy. So when given the fundraising challenge for the gala, I wanted to make it fun and give some amazing ladies the opportunity to share their businesses with others while being able to play their small part in making a difference. I thought there was no better way than to have a shopping event! Some of the area's best boutiques will be there along with jewelry, make-up, custom-made accessories & decor and even healthy living products! There will be a silent auction as well! It's going to be such a fun night. It's August 3rd at Oakbrook Church from 5:30-7:30.

5. What is your hidden talent?

Decorating on a budget, whether it be shopping for awesome deals or restoring old furniture or junk! I've been known to pick things up from the curb on trash day....please don't judge! Those things have turned out to be my best projects!!
