The Restored Gala is a unique event with a meaningful mission: to restore hope to women in Haiti. Twenty-five Hope Restorers have embarked on a journey to fulfill this mission by restoring an item that the world would deem as junk and raise $1,000 in the process. The money they raise will be matched by a generous donor, and their restored pieces will be auctioned off at the Gala on September 23, 2017. Join us by getting your tickets for the event and helping morgan reach his goal by donating to his campaign below.
My name is Morgan Young and I am a pastor at Oakbrook Church/New Hope Church, co-owner of Main Street Café w/my wife, Sandra, and the facilitator for Kokomo CEO entrepreneurship class. I am involved in all those things and the Restored Gala because I am passionate about helping people get better at their one and only life! The easiest thing to do is be a critic, but the harder, more rewarding path is to be an agent of change and a voice of hope; that’s something Nadege and I have in common, so why not work together? When my friend, Julie Baldini, kindly suggested I restore something, God nudged me to get my hands dirty for this great cause and I can’t wait to get started! Outside of work, I love playing drums, a good motorcycle ride, writing, woodworking and dining/hanging out with great people.
