The Restored Gala is a unique event with a meaningful mission: to restore hope to women in Haiti.  Twenty-five Hope Restorers have embarked on a journey to fulfill this mission by restoring an item that the world would deem as junk and raise $1,000 in the process.  The money they raise will be matched by a generous donor, and their restored pieces will be auctioned off at the Gala on September 22, 2018. Join us by getting your tickets for the event and helping sophie and madi reach their goal by donating below.

My name is Madi. I just graduated with a degree in social work, and I am currently pursuing a Masters of Social Work. I have been artist all my life, and art is something that I do not think I will ever detach from. In the past five years, art has become more of a process than an outcome. I thrive in the freedom to express through art what my voice cannot. Art is universal and subjective, and it has the ability to impact people in multiple capacities. That is why I do what I do. I am excited for the opportunity to combine my love for art and for people by restoring a piece. I believe in the mission of Nadege, and the work they are doing in Haiti to provide hope and safety to survivors of domestic violence.

My name is Sophie. I am college student at Huntington University studying psychology and sociology. This summer I am interning with Nadege. Since high school, I have been interested with Haiti and the culture. I have also had an interest in learning about human trafficking. This is why I strongly believe in Nadege's mission. I have always had a passion for helping others. I am excited to be a restorer this year, because that means I get to help people in new ways. I am excited to see what the Restored Gala brings to Nadege this year.
