Job Title: Clinical Director, Full-time position

Location: Haiti


The Clinical Director will be responsible for overseeing the clinical development of Nadege’s mental health program. They will offer supervision, training, and evaluation of clinical staff at the empowerment center. They will collaborate with the Executive Director and Program Coordinator to hire clinical and onsite house staff. They will facilitate initial and ongoing needs assessments in the community and within the program to ensure well-informed and culturally appropriate implementation of clinical practices. They will be responsible for building collaborative partnerships with other local agencies in Haiti. They will play an integral role as the liaison between the ongoing Haitian projects and the US-based office. 


●      Licensed Clinical Social Worker/Licensed Mental Health Counselor or equivalent

●      3-5 years working in a mental health agency or non-profit program with experience in staff supervision and program development.

●      Experience working in crisis situations with individuals and families

●      Experience and evidence in identifying and implementing evidence-based practices

●      Awareness and sensitivity working with various socio-economic and cultural backgrounds

●      3-5 years experience with program or non-profit development

●      Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and safety of Nadege residents

●      Strong written and oral communication skills

●      Possess willingness to live in Haiti

●      Fluent in Creole and/or French

Essential Job Functions

●      Supervise and oversee all aspects of the clinical department at Nadege

●      Responsible for hiring, supervising, evaluating and training clinical staff

●      Collaborate with Operations Director and Executive Director to ensure that program goals and initiatives are being implemented    

●      Regularly provide staff supervision and clinical training to clinicians

●      Understand and follow all Nadege policies and procedures

●      Build and maintain working relationships with Haitian mental health agencies, non profits, and universities to promote partnership 

●      Ongoing mental health curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation for Nadege

●      Liaison between local community and Nadege to build and maintain partnership (in collaboration with Operations Director)

●      Liaison between Haitian project and US based office

●      Initiate community needs assessment for initial program development and ongoing evaluation

●      Develop and implement strategies and protocol for clinical record keeping and organization
